Location and itineraries
Our location is in the charming village of Lesterny, a sub-municipality of Nassonge, near Rochefort (BE).
From Soest (for example) you can drive here in about 4 hours via Maastricht and Liège. Click here for the route.
The most beautiful mountain bike routes in our area are around Rochefort and Han-sur-Lesse, only half an hour by bike. You drive there via narrow country roads that wind through the forests and fields of this beautiful region. The most popular MTB route is the one from Rochefort (4), with an elevation gain of over 700 metres. For this kind of challenging routes, you can best go to the website of Trails.bike.
Do you want to do a little less kilometers, but still experience plenty of excitement? Then the routes east of Han-sur-Lesse are recommended. These have a steep descent here and there at the end. Are you looking for a quieter start? On Komoot you will find various routes in the area that are a little more accessible, but still offer beautiful views.
